The French Pharmacy Brand That Understands Skin
The way Bioderma approaches skincare is very much in alignment with how I approach beauty with my clients: You don’t need more products, you just need the right ones.
Bioderma has been a makeup artist and dermatologist favorite for over 30 years for good reasons. Their products work with you skin, not against it, to restore, strengthen and enhance.
Their micellar water is known internationally, but most people don’t realize that they have a whole range of reasonably priced products for nearly every skin type. Each range is designed like a “wardrobe” for a specific skin type.

Let’s start with their Sensibio collection. These products are for those with sensitive or reactive skin with redness and/or irritation. Their range of products will help to calm the redness or irritation, strengthen skin barriers and the formulas are gentle enough to not irritate your skin further.
Moving on to the Hydrabio collection. These products are for people with dry to normal skin types. They help treat dehydrated skin and adds glow to dull or tired skin. If you have no serious skin issues, this range is a light moisturization that will give your skin a glow.
Next up, the Sébium collection is for oily and acne prone skin. It’s a myth that you don’t need to moisturize your skin if it’s oily. This range of products will help treat the problem area and help to control shine all while moisturizing your skin and protecting it. Their products help with breakouts, congested pores and regulates sebum (oil). They won’t strip your skin, they will balance it. 
Finally, we have the Atoderm collection. This is for extremely dry skin or skin issues caused by a treatment, sunburns or allergies. They treat flakiness, protects and repairs skin barriers and deeply nourishes. These are great creams if you’re prone to eczema.
Makeup Artists love Bioderma because their creams create the perfect foundation for makeup. They prep the skin and play well with most foundation formulas. They keep the skin calm and nourished on long days under spotlights and also when makeup has been removed and the skin is feeling raw.
One of the best parts of Bioderma is that the pricing of their products are very reasonable. You can find them in any pharmacy in Paris and prices range from 10€ to 30€. At that pricing, you can treat yourself to multiple products! That’s a win!
